8 X 10 Tasveer is a Bollywood thriller film starring Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles. It is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, and produced by Percept Picture Company. The film features Sharmila Tagore, Javed Jaffrey, Anant Mahadevan, Girish Karnad, Benjamin Gilani, Rushad Rana, Andrea Tully, and Pia Shah in supporting roles. As of March 2008, the cast and crew was shooting in Calgary, Canada. It was previously called Tasveer, but changed due to the director’s insistence that the title was jinxed. The film’s music is composed by Salim-Sulaiman with a title track by Bohemia.

Synopsis for 8 X 10 Tasveer Movie:
8×10 Tasveer is a story of Jai, a young man in his 30’s, who has a supernatural gift.

His father, Jatin, though, feels very strongly that his son is wasting his life away instead of managing the vast business empire he has created and this leads to a complete breakdown of relationship between the two. Jai’s wife Sheela is grudgingly supportive of her husband but has a ‘real’ job and is the actual bread- winner of the family.

Sometime later, Jatin is killed in a boating accident under mysterious circumstances and Jai feels wretched about losing his father and the times that could’ve been shared. He accidentally stumbles upon the last photograph taken of the entire group of friends and family on the boat, minutes before the accident and while being consumed with grief and curiosity, he starts to investigate by undertaking the dangerous experience. He eventually unravels the mystery and in a nail biting finish comes up with a startling answer. The movie takes clues from “buterfly effect”.
