Shah Rukh Khan’s Rs 25 Lakhs-worth Mannat Nameplate Goes Missing, Here’s Why It’s Been Taken Down: Report

A few weeks ago, social media went viral after fans noticed a new nameplate for a manat installed in SRK’s home. Several fans also took installation photos. It was also reported that the painting cost about 35 thousand rupees.

However, it has now been reported that the bright plate no longer exists. It is said that SRK’s team has temporarily removed the nameplate. The reason for the removal was that a diamond fell off the name plate.

A source told Hindustan Times, “One diamond fell off the nameplate, thus it was removed for repair. It is inside the house, actually in the garden, and it will be returned once it is fixed.”

Earlier this year, when the new painting appeared online, BollywoodLife claimed that Gauri Khan designed the painting. “SRK never goes into these details, as Gauri is the house manager and whatever she decides is happily accepted by the family. In fact, the choice is great because the response they receive from fans is likable.”

Shah Rukh resides at Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai. His home has become a landmark, as fans around the world make their way to Mannat hoping to snap a picture in front of the house and catch a glimpse of the star.

Recently, fans crowded outside Mannat to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh on the occasion of Eid. A sea of fans gathered outside the house and SRK noticed that too. The actor returned to his famous balcony and greeted the fans. He also took a selfie with the crowd outside and wished them well.

Meanwhile, Shahrukh has been busy with his upcoming work. The actor is set to return after a five-year hiatus with Pathan. The film is scheduled to be released in January 2023, with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead. SRK also announced Dhunki, which is set to be released later next year. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Taapsee Pannu.
