Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma She has finally started shooting for her upcoming movie Chakda Xpress. This will signal her return to the big screen after zero. The film is based on the life of Indian cricketer Golan Goswami. The actress shared a video of the path to her trailer, and a photo of the board and still featuring a number of cricket balls. Now, it is reported that the cast and crew are expected to depart for the UK next month for the second phase of filming.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Anushka told Mid-Day, “A movie of this size needs massive preparation across the board. It’s a delightful script that intends to make strong statements.”
She continued, “It is a fact that women have to go this extra mile to earn their place in this patriarchal world. Jhulan Goswami’s life is a testament to the fact that she carved her own destiny, fighting for every inch of spotlight and recognition. I hope to do justice to the script.”
The actress also added that this feels like her first movie again. “Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented me from returning to the cinema, although I was eager to start filming.”
Chakda Express is also her first movie after the birth of her daughter Famika.
Anushka Sharma started preparing for the movie a while ago. The actress had previously revealed that she was receiving tips about cricket from her husband Virat Kohli. “We definitely discuss my progress. Whenever I have a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Fortunately, he is not a football player so I listen to my coach more.
