Trust Varun Dhawan to deliver his movie wherever he is, and very seamlessly at that! The actor, who is enjoying positive comments for his latest release ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ which also features stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, are good friends of his Alia Bhatt who recently announced her first pregnancy. The two made their Bollywood debut together in Student of the Year. After that they also shared screen space in “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”, “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” and “Kalank”.

So it was inevitable when Items reached out to Varun to talk about his movie, and also talk about Alia’s good news. It was a deja vu moment when Varun shared his message to Alia in the best possible way saying, “JugJugg Jeeyo!”

If you can remember, Varun did the same in April after Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding when a photographer asked him to share his wishes for the newlyweds.

Varun Dhawan, who was first paired with Kiara Advani on ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’, is delighted to see the audience appreciate their work. Talking about some of the reactions he’s received, Varun says, “The confrontation scene in the second half of the movie, we get a lot of love. People talk about it. As actors, it’s very satisfying when it happens. It happens. When your profession is praised, Especially in a commercial movie, it’s a great feeling. There are so many scenes that every actor has had a moment to shine and the movie overall is shining. It gives people a great feeling.”
