Superstar Kamal Haasan Receives UAE’s Prestigious Golden Visa

Kamal Hasan is blessed with the success of his latest film “Vikram” which has emerged as one of the most successful films in Tamil cinema. The action movie caused chaos at the box office worldwide. Vikram has received a huge response in the international markets as well. Commercial analyst Ramesh Bala revealed that Vikram is now the highest-grossing Tamil film in the UAE.

It has now emerged that Kamal Hassan has secured the golden visa for the UAE for 10 years after the huge success of his movie at the box office in the Middle Eastern country. If the reports are to be believed, the UAE government recommended Kamal Hassan to get the golden visa before the pandemic as well. However, Haasan could not get this honor due to restrictions related to the epidemic.

This coveted visa has been granted to many prominent members of the southern film industry such as R Parthiban, Vijay Sethupati, Trisha Mohanlal, Tofino Thomas, Dulker Salman, Jayasurya and Prithviraj. Bollywood Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Boney Kapoor, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi have also been granted golden visas by the UAE administration.

When it comes to box office hits, it doesn’t look like Vikram will be stopping anytime soon. Reportedly, Vikram has surpassed Rajinikanth’s Enthiran to become the highest-grossing Kollywood film in the UK. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directing has already crossed Rs 400 crore at the worldwide box office. It is worth mentioning that Vikram also appeared as the highest grossing film in Tamil Nadu.

Vikram of Haasan minted Rs 172 crore in Tamil Nadu alone and broke the box office record set by Prabhas’ Baahubali: The Compendium. Trade analysts believe Vikram is on track to raise more than Rs 500 crore globally. Vikram will be released on OTT Disney + hot star On July 8.
