Actor and producer Vijay Babu, who is under investigation for allegedly raping a budding actress, wrote a note, with the time allotted for questioning running out. While granting conditional pre-emptive bail in the case to Vijay Babu, the Supreme Court granted permission for the police to question him from June 27 to July 3, from 10am to 6pm, when he was due to be considered in custody. Vijay Babu, who collaborated with the investigation, took to his social media to take on and post a note.

In the memo, Vijay Babu stated that he has all the answers that the media ask of him, however, he is unable to make public statements, as directed by the court.

“Today ends seven days of limited custodial interrogation as ordered by the esteemed Supreme Court. I cooperated fully and honestly with respected officers throughout the process. Unlimited evidence and facts have been presented…(sic),” Vijay Babu said in the memo.

He added, “I thank God for being with me and keeping me ‘alive’ for the past seventy days up to this point no matter what disturbing thoughts that pop up in my mind. To my family and friends – I lived because of you all. … Your messages and kind words made me breathe … in The end prevails the truth.”

He added: “Dear media, I apologize for not being able to answer your questions, although I carry all the answers, I am only supposed to talk about this case with my family, lawyers, investigation team and the honorable court. Until then, the films I create will speak … And I will talk about my films alone. They say… “Nothing is stronger than a broken man!!! It rebuilds itself……. God bless. (sic).”

Meanwhile, the complainant’s representative has taken to the Supreme Court, challenging the Supreme Court’s order to grant Vijay Babu anticipatory bail.
