Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is one of the highly anticipated films. Directing Puri Jagannadh has been in the spotlight due to its pan-India release. The movie kept the audience on their toes as they were dropping little flicks. Puri has already hinted that the film contains surprising elements that are new to the Indian audience.
Reports now indicate that the sports drama has an action sequence where Vijay will appear in action with 14 female fighters at a time. It is said that the scene will be the highlight of the movie and a treat for the audience. It is reported that 14 women trained in martial arts.
Last week, the makers of the movie released a trailer, which was loved not only by movie buffs but also by critics. The two-minute trailer received a great response from the audience. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Vijay in the role of a thriving boxer in his life.
The trailer launch was a total madness as Megastar Chiranjeevi, along with Prabhas released the Telugu trailer, Dulquer Salmaan revealed the Malayalam trailer and Ranveer Singh released the Indian trailer.
Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, who plays the protagonist in a sports drama, it also features Ananya Panday as a leading lady. Ramya Krishan, Ronit Roy and Mike Tyson also star in the film in pivotal roles.
Speaking on the management front, Liger is backed by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur in association with Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the Puri Connects and Dharma Productions banners, respectively. The cinematography of the film was taken by Vishnu Sarma, while Kecha from Thailand is the motion director for the film.
Liger is all set for its theatrical release on August 25, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
